For seven years, documentarist Camilla Arlien follows a young man, Jannik, and his struggle to overcome his violent past and inner demons. Despite an overtly musical talent and a burning desire to change his life, Jannik's turbulent journey culminates in a last escape to the small forest that is both his sanctuary and, later, his fate.
